It's ugly, it makes me cringe to share it as is but while it's totally uninteresting in terms of visuals it can give you some insight into my process for the project =)

I think the important thing when trying to produce porn comics is to not overshoot in terms of the world building and traditional narrative surrounding what is the core appeal; the action itself. The world building and character development is there to enhance the appeal of the action in terms of visuals and investment in the characters. I want this setting to be light-hearted and humorous but I can't be too enamored with it and lose sight of what the final product is supposed to achieve.

the visual Breakdown here is:

blue: intro (4p)

 red : action (9p)

 green : conclusion (2p)

9 action pages to 6 "story" pages is not a great ratio (and believe me I already compressed the story parts a bunch =>) but I think it will do for this first attempt at a big project (15 pages for my slow ass is pretty crazy).

Regarding the planning for the story bits and the action, I approach them totally differently.

Story pages:

Conveying narrative in visual form is tricky and I haven't developed a sense for it yet so I'm pretty precise in this initial draft. I'm almost solid on the intro except for page 4 and I have the core breakdown of the conclusion mostly set.

My main concern is to not overload the pages, I might be a bit too influenced by classic Franco-Belgian comics in my layouts (you typically have more space to work with than in manga) and have a tendency to shove too many frames in there, that might need fixing, or simplifying.

Action pages:

In a sense that's the easy part, for a while now I've been working exclusively on page-sized formats for my commissions and monthly art, seeing every single drawing as an A4 composition, as a result I've developed a rather reliable process.

While there is a narrative progression in these action pages, it's always secondary in importance compared to the quality of the action, that's why in the breakdown above I've drawn these 2 minute ugly ass representations of the main pose for each action page.

Once they are laid out I can zero in on the variety and balancing of the action using only these core elements. For example here on page 5 I want a full body squat pose for PG to be the main course. Then on page 6 it's going to be a blowjob frame, reversal pussy munching on 7 etc etc. i can then fill in everything else and build up each page around the main poses, in general I'll have a secondary frame that's number 2 in the general hierarchy, and then everything else is totally flexible.

Example!:

The bottom frame was the one I established first (even if it's chronologically last), I decided the page had to articulate itself around that one element. It overlaps everything else and sets the general tone.

The top-left frame is the secondary building block, In general I try to make it contrast with the main pose in some way, here lulu is flipped in her orientation between the two, it should create a dynamic flow.

The frames top-right are lesser in importance, but to not have too much messy clutter I bunched them up in a solid column which enhances readability.

I do iterate a bit on that system but it mostly stays the same, you can probably find it in most of my production that involves frames.

Even in the context of a comic it's pretty useful because it breaks down the action into core elements that force me to think in terms of appeal and not let anything else distract me, it's porn, there's a refreshing simplicity to it =)

So that's it for the comic stuff for December, thanks for putting up with the unwieldiness of the project, I hope explaining the process is interesting to some of you at least!

Thank you for your support.

Thank you for the break down. I've never drawn a hentai comic before. I thought about tho. I was going to try to wing it, but now looking at what you've got here. I have to rethink how I'm going to do it.
