It's been a hell of a week...

Real life got busy for a bit, and I lost internet for several days.

On the game development front, the last area had a few things that turned out to be WAY more complex to code than anticipated, so I ultimately split down the middle and reduced the complexity by reworking my approach to the final area a bit. What that means for last week's checklist is that I did manage to finish the interactive elements I wanted to, as well as the inventory integration, but the new character and endings haven't been started.

Before I can do those, I've got one final interactive element to finish up (added in the restructuring), and I need to code the (relatively simple) logic that will determine which ending you get in this area. Those will be maybe 2-3 days of work, depending on how crazy real life stays, but I see nothing obvious to keep me from starting on the new character and endings this week.

If all goes well, I'm hopeful that I can finish up the work on the endings next week, with debugging and release the following week.
