Happy Halloween!

I decided to try something a little different for this update and experiment with a scenario-driven level. Since Halloween is upon us, I wanted to do something spooky! So here's a weight gain spin on The Backrooms creepypasta: The Snackrooms.

The idea was originally thought up by Krim de la Krim over on twitter and they gave me some help when brainstorming for this scenario. Check them out here if you want to see their Snackrooms concepts and other great fatty art! https://twitter.com/krimdelakrimxon 

Anyway, here's the shtick: Eat your way through The Snackrooms to unlock new passages and figure out a way to escape. Can you find your way home or will you fall victim to the effects of this grease-stained labyrinth?

I built some new events, triggers and progression systems for this update that I plan to use in more levels in the future. I basically want to have more interaction with the world and more stuff to do in general. This scenario was a perfect opportunity to experiment with these systems and design something more goal driven.

Absolutely phenomenal! I truly admire how you’ve brought the snack rooms to life so vividly! Tell me, in the future, do you have any plans to expand upon the snack rooms? Perhaps adding more liminal spaces to explore with challenges or puzzles revolving around weight? I’d be thrilled to see your snack rooms style take on some classic liminal spaces.

Yes, I want to revisit the snack rooms eventually and tie in some of the new weight gain mechanics. Not sure when, but maybe in time for next Halloween
