Gnoll Tales Progress Update (Patreon)

I’ve been talking about it on Twitter and Mastodon, but I can give you guys a bit more information about the upcoming book I'm working on, Gnoll Tales. So far, I’ve gotten eleven stories done for this collection, and have one more I’m writing. The breakdown of stories and their word counts currently, are as follows.

This will change a bit as I edit and polish these up. The last three stories on this list just went out to my writing group today, and I’ll be working on proofing all these as I go along. I on track to meet the Anthrocon release deadline I have set for myself. The cover artist has already done the cover. We’ll need to adjust it a little once I have the book laid out, and I’ve determined the spine width, but things are moving along well.

The last story I’m working on looks like it will be the longest in the book so far, and it’s currently over 3,200 words, and there’s still another 1,000 or so words to write on it. If another idea comes to me, I’ll see if I can get the book up to 30,000 words before the intro and table of contents are added. I’m hoping to wrap up writing stories for the book by the end of the month, so I have time to get the production done. I also need to decide on a order still for these stories.

Also, I want to think you all for supporting me on here. I’ve decided there will be a patron thank you page in the book. I’ll be sending a survey when I get closer to release to ask you what name you’d like me to credit you in the book.

I'll be releasing another story from the book later this month on Patreon once I go over feedback i have on it.
