I’ve been a little lost for what to do with the Patreon lately. I’ve been transitioning away from short stories as the focus of my writing into longer work as the primary form of writing I do, so I’m unsure how best to utilize Patreon. Should I post the first draft of a chapter? I don’t know how many short stories I will be writing moving forward. I enjoy doing them, but they take time away from working on bigger projects.

Lately, I’ve taken it easy and been posting updated novel chapters on here, but that’s not very satisfactory or useful for anyone who has already picked up the book. I’ve also struggled a little since getting the novel and collection done to figure out what I should be working on next. I worked on the Scars for so long that it’s surreal that the project is now done. I’ve got a couple of different projects I want to do, but I need to pick a specific one.

However, I’ve got some small stuff to go with the updated and final version of chapter 3 I’ll be posting this month. With needless death in the news this month, I’ve been exploring my emotional response in some short pieces. I’ll be uploading a poem about identity titled “Be” and a flash piece about nuclear war called “Midnight in the Dust of a Fallen World” before the month is out.

While these are serious pieces, I should write some erotica for next month as a way to blow off some steam.
