Tweaking the Tiers (Patreon)

First, I want to thank everyone who's joined this so far. You guys rock! I've been doing some thinking, and I made a decision that I think will benefit all my patrons. I've decided to merge the $1 and $5 tier to be a single $3 tier. This won't affect existing patrons though, so I've marked those tiers as "founder" to signify I won't change those. The way Patreon works, I can't reprice a tier without unpublishing it. I did talk to all of the $1 tier patrons to see if they would be receptive of a price change, but I think this will be fairer.

Why do this? Well I want to get things out, and having the two tiered system felt a little unfair. If you wanted just my posts and writing advice, the $1 level was good, but if you wanted my stories and only my stories the $5 level felt a little steep. Since, I'm targeting three things a month, going with $3 seems good.

What this means for existing Patrons

If you choose to move to the $3 tier, I'll close that slot on your current tier. That includes the $5 tier. That also means everyone sees everything who's pledged now. Also, for my $1 patrons that means you can now check out the stories I've already posted, The Snow Tiger and The Color of the Rainbow, which you couldn't do before.

What's Coming this Month

I'm currently working on editing "Unknown Stains" which I posted a sample from last month, since I need to submit at the end of the month. I also need to work on some other projects this month. I had fun at Anthrocon last weekend, but it did take up part of this month''s writing time. Unlike some of my writing friends at the con, I didn't find time to write at Anthrocon. Tomorrow there will be a new blog post. I'm still debating on exactly what story to put up this month. I want to finally get some adult content on here, so I'm leaning toward something along those lines.
