 Alla prima refers to a direct painting approach where paint is applied wet on wet without letting earlier layers dry.The term alla prima means "at first attempt".  Hey yall, as many as you guys know, I am an artist, I choose the term alla prima  as step in a new direction, recently I have struggled with what items to make and trying to remain different from others but taking a step back and not  focusing on  just releasing anything, I ended up creating some really create pieces I never made before.
