We’ve accumulated 26 Mapmaking brushes again so it’s time to release them :))

This brush pack has all the water brushes that were used to create the new water assets for Wilderness - Pack 8.  As well grass brushes that were used for new grass textures and couple of broken glass pieces brushes.

Cheers!

So, I don't have ClipStudio-- how does it factor into your mapmaking flow? (asking anybody) just curious. Is it a DD alternative? or do you "touch up" and "brush" on complete maps to give them that little extra touch?

We at FA use CSP for all our art, mapmaking included - and it's the software we recommend. DD is great at what it does - easy to pick up, makes decent looking maps quickly. But it doesn't really offer you much control if you wanna go a step further, especially in post processing area and other adjustments. It's mostly just place assets and textures on a canvas - potentially add some lights and you are done. CSP on the other hand is fully featured digital drawing/painting software, so there are basically no limitations in that department - But on the other hand, learning curve is much steeper since it's a much more complicated software.

Nice, thanks for the info ^_^ Been wanting to get back to drawing anyway, looks like i might be making a purchase here, it'll be dual-purpose :)

Also CSP goes on sale through humblebundle like twice a year! It's a great program for digital art.

Would these work in Krita?

Hey guys love your work as always. Only thing i find myself consistently missing in my creations are good fire, burning stickers. Fantastic nonetheless.

Fire is on our to-do list, but we dont really have timelines for our content, Artists work in mysterious ways :D

Hello! I'm new here and am a beginner at clip studio. Do you know if these will work on the iPad version of CSP or is it just for desktop? These brushes (and everything you make) look incredible and I'm so excited to use them in the maps I'm making for my group's campaigns.
