This episode went down better for me than it did when I first watched it. It had been a little over two years since s3 and Amazon decided to switch to two eps per week so we only got 1 & 2 initially. After waiting so long, I found this premiere to be unimpressive and I agree with what someone else said—that wonder wheel scene is a bit torturous. I still don’t love the ep, but again, it’s going down better in hindsight. It’s interesting to see how you guys react and interpret some of Midge’s actions and choices in the ep. Can’t wait to go on this season journey with you to see where you land in the end.

We can't either! We didn't mind it. Maybe because we didn't have to wait as long as everyone else? Maybe it's recency bias. We enjoyed this one!
