I've been thinking of alternative (funny) TV series. here are a couple that came to mind, though not all of them are sit-coms or comedies per se: Community (sit-com), The Librarians (a fantasy version of Doctor Who, in a way), Good Omens (it's a lot of fun but not always 100% funny; also, it's short), Umbrella Academy (sci-fi, very funny, very confusing). I will also second the rec for Galavant because it is pretty much the only other musical TV series I've seen. I remember being very enamoured with the concept (but the execution is not as brilliant as CEG is).

Several people have suggested Galavant. I have no idea what it is or have never seen a trailer. So...it could be really fun.
