As for White Josh (this might be a slight spoiler, so be aware): I think he is mostly portrayed as a levelheaded guy who does not fall for the same emotional traps as other characters. However, it is also hinted throughout the show that a) he is a big consumer of TV drama b) he is guilty of both downplaying stuff (e.g., his heartbreak in S3) and taking things out of portion (e.g., Greg's and Nathaniel's bonding moment at the gym). So using game show ideas to solve complex interpersonal issues is, in a sense, true to WJ's character or at least to the immature side of him.

I'm so enjoying see you reach the end of the show... and a bit sad at the same time. ;) It was seeing that you were covering it that immediately moved me to be a Patron, and I'll miss your perspective being part of my week. (I've certainly never before met CXG watchers who were so into Trent!!) As for the 3-dates thing, I'll just reiterate something that you yourselves just said at the end of the video: trust the show. And then I'll shut up on that point. I think The Good Place is a WONDERFUL idea for a show to react to. I would just urge you not to read up on it or know anything about any aspect of it in advance. Each episode is a lovely surprise, and it's unlike anything else.
