I think a show like this really owes it's origins to is Mary Tyler Moore. Before that, there were not a lot of non cop, non cop or non western shows and certainly not many that had a woman as the lead. And she was not only a woman, she was a single woman in her 30s making a new life after breaking up with her boyfriend. If you guys have never watched it - it's a *must watch* show.

Agree with all the Season 4&5 comments but would like to add - bad seasons of Mrs. Maisel are better than 90% of the other stuff that is available out there - it is not a slog to get thru this series, and it isn't a precipitous drop-off like GOT was in Season 8. Plus - I LOVED the Finale, still totally worth the ride! Originally airing on December 6, 2019, 'It's the Sixties, Man!' is Episode 2 of Season 3 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. It is the 20th episode overall and has an IMDB rating of 7.9, placing it as the #8 ranked episode of this season and #19 out of all the episodes shown so far.
