Now you understand why everyone was hyping this episode in advance. Stevie tying herself in knots worrying about Johnny is incredibly touching. And then the proposal is just on a level all its own -- maybe matched by that scene at the end of season 3 when Patrick and David talked in the car, and kissed for the first time. PERFECT writing and acting, both times.

It really is. Even though this show is as acclaimed as it is, am I crazy in thinking that it's a little underrated? Obviously it has a huge fan base but why isn't this show held in the same regard as The Office?

Haha, every time you guys would start your videos saying Ted and Alexis would be the couple to get engaged/married, it was so hard to not spoil anything! I think having David and Patrick get engaged/married made sense in the grand scheme of things in that rather than being on again/off again like Ted and Alexis, once they were together they were "it" for each other. And then just the importance of showing a healthy queer relationship where they overcome hurdles but get to be happy and committed to each other. It's something we still don't see in media enough.
