One example of the 'failed cliffhanger' was the presumed death of a major character in Game Of Thrones, which basically backfired, annoying a lot of the audience, instead of amping them up. It would have been much better to have simply teased possibilities for the following season - which is what the Js (Joe Weisberg and Joel Fields) did so well with the finale of S1.

Weird Magic

Behind the washer was where Elizabeth was hiding some of her personal stuff - I believe in previous episodes we saw their hiding place was in the fuse box.....which is conspicuously middle frame over Paige's shoulder at the end, and in the final shot she turns around and stares in that direction. It is the 13th episode overall and has an IMDB rating of 9.0, placing it as the #1 ranked episode of this season and #1 out of all the episodes shown so far.
