If I missed it on a show reaction I apologize, but don't watch every show. Are you going to continue with 30 Rock?

It's looking like we won't right now. Every time we upload to Youtube it gets blocked immediately by NBC

I was 15 in 1981 when season 1 takes place. The tension was high in the 70s when we did duck and cover in 1st grade in 1972. Even though I was 6 I asked my teachers- why would a desk protect us from a blast wave and why would we go outside right after into radiation. The mood got worse when Iran took the hostages and Reagan corruptly violated the Logan Act and met with the Iran government right before the Nov 1980 elections and they mysteriously released the hostages DURING the Jan 20, 1981 inauguration ceremony. Reagan was a moron and full of bluster which ratcheted up the tensions but was surrounded with "pseudo-normal" advisors and cabinet who would not have started WWIII. When Gorbachev took power and both sides negotiated nuclear arms reductions it seriously ratcheted down tensions, and even more when George HW Bush took office in Jan 1989, since he was competent and normal. We rapidly had the fall of the Berlin Wall in 89 and dissolution of the Soviet Union in 91, so things changed quickly.. The clock in the episode revealing the initial inklings of "Star Wars" like space defenses actually got to Gorbachev's head. People mocked it at the time (1983 when it was more public) saying the US would put up an umbrella of $780 Billion $I US Bills to make Russian nukes bounce back into the atmosphere. Reagin was like Trump, but with a brain, who could read a script, and let his "handlers" run things since he was dementing... For some biting criticism go dig us the political cartoon strip "Bloom County" that disses Resgan, conservatives and even Trump at the end of the comic's run from late 1980 to 1989 when Trump buys out and fires the town like at the end of Mary Tyler Moore

Man, I'm excited to see the show cover some of this. It's such an interesting time in world history. Thanks for sharing!
