Of all the incredulous moments in the show, steam in tampon-clogged pipes making the table float is the moment that I give the biggest side eye.

Great reaction as always, guys! (Aside from the impossible-to-anticipate initial countoff, LOL) If I ever complain, please know that it's in the context of you being about the most insightful reactors around, of the 7 or 8 that I follow on Patreon. I couldn't hear every word over whatever the background roar was, so in case you didn't say it, "The Cringe" was directly modeled on "The Monster Mash." And the new theme song has fun mimicking all the theme songs for the who-can-turn-the-world-on-with-her-smile heroines of sitcoms past -- That Girl, Mary Tyler Moore, Rhoda, and many more. Michael Hitchcock, the actor whom you pointed out as Bert Buttenweiser, has been a writer and executive producer on this show from the start. So that's another reason we get to see him here (though they may not initially have imagined his role taking this turn as the series continued). In that way he's similar to Rene Gube (Father Brah), likewise a writer and producer throughout the show's run. Rachel and Aline recognize talent and make good use of it! (Hitchcock was also part of the ensemble in all those Christopher Guest films alongside Eugene Levy & Catherine O'Hara, to connect this your Schitt's Creek discussion.)

Okay! Thanks for clearing that up. We figured he was involved in some way... I still need to watch those Chris Guest movies.
