- it is shakesperean! although the show can be so funny, it can also be tragic and the king Lear reference is spot on

2 curiosities that I think we can see in this episode but are not explicitly said in the show: first, Alan Ruck has said that Connor has ADHD and delusional personality disorder. I think the whole butter thing/ wanting to place the forks and the people in the 'right way' kinda shows that. Second is that Kieran Culkin says that he believes Roman has an eating disorder ( rewatching this I noticed that he barely looks at himself in the mirror and he is also very uncomfortable with people touching his body, romans deal with sex may seem like he's just a pervert and he kinda is but without spoiling anythingI'm just gonna say I think there's more to it than that and it's quite sad
