I think you'd enjoy abbot elementary. It's not exactly in an office but it's a sitcom based around the work of the characters, it reminds me a lot of parks and rec and it's pretty good

What fun to see you take on another series I liked! And I haven't watched the pilot since it aired, so this felt like a new show after all these years. I agree that they have a solid supporting cast, and a workplace setting ripe for comedy. I can think of one sitcom set in a restaurant -- "Kitchen Confidential," very loosely inspired by Anthony Bourdain's book of the same title. Bradley Cooper played the head chef, and Frank Langella was the owner. It never found an audience and was cancelled after 8 of its 13 episodes aired in 2005. Hulu used to stream it but has dropped it.

Superstore seems to me to be one of those shows that flew under the radar. It was never a massive critical success, and while it was popular enough to have 6 full seasons, it wasn't a runaway crowd-pleaser by any means. And yet... it's a really solid comedy. It's a strong ensemble cast, pretty diverse which is always a huge plus for me, and it is particularly good with the comedy of random transitional shots :) It's satisfying. Like a good meal. I haven't finished the series myself, so I'm looking forward to watching it with you two (should you keep at it).

I've never heard of Kitchen Confidential, but that also sounds like a fantastic setting for a workplace sitcom.
