There's a fun fan theory that this show is a prequel to The Expanse, because the latter takes place in a future where the solar system has been colonized with fairly realistic extrapolations of current physics and technology, but still has a lot of the Cold War-esque political tensions. Highly recommend The Expanse once you're caught up with For All Mankind if you want something in the same vein.
