Hey guys I completely spaced on the movie for Friday so we're gunna do a poll tonight and decide for then. Wanted to go with more contemporary movies this time.

Voting for Hit Man just because there is no earthly way I'm willing to watch that movie by myself.

I picked Aftersun but I'm not sure it's a great watchalong kind of movie. More the kind of thing you watch by yourself and than cry yourself to sleep because your heart is shattered. Or at least that was my experience with it lol. I don't really get the overwhelming love for Hit Man. I found it to be pretty dull, especially visually (it looks like a movie made to be on streaming so you can enjoy it while folding laundry). The concept of it is great though and I'm clearly on the minority on this one so you might have more fun with it. I still think Bernie is a much better Linklater comedy.

it was actually pretty amusing. i went in with no expectations and they did a good job. Also, Ms. Arjona is worth putting up with a just amusing movie for.
