"Sandwich Day" - yes, I went to Jimmy John's immediately after watching this episode.

Wow, you were not in nerdy spaces online in late 2000s, early 2010s. Because The Office, Parks and Rec, 30 Rock, and Community had extremely passionate and evangelical fans. And it was always funny because NBC kept trying to make *something* else a hit on Thursdays and it always failed. There was Outsourced which was about a guy moving to India to run a call center. There was Perfect Couples which was one of those terrible shows about couples at different stages of their relationships. There was Up All Night which such a mess that someone should write a tell all book about it. There was Whitney, which was a truly awful sitcom starring Whitney Cummings. The Thursday mainstays were pretty lucky actually. There was always a night on NBC's schedule that was a bigger dumpster fire than Thursday. And there was always at least one sitcom that was even more of a dessicated corpse. So NBC just sort of let them chug along, year after year.

Great points! I remember watching an episode of Whitney. I don't remember the details, but I do remember it being awful and telling other people how terrible it was.
