Hey, everyone! We went on a deep dive to find sports movies from that bygone era of "yes you can!" sports movies that emerged from Rocky mania. This will be a short poll, as we will be watching these on Friday. Please feel free to vote for as many as you'd like.

I haven't even heard of some of these (which was surprising to me as a movie nerd), so I went for one of those (American Flyers). I have seen Victory (I know it as Escape to Victory), and it's mostly bad, but the casting is undeniably epic. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Escape_to_Victory#Cast Chariots of Fire won all the Oscars, deservedly so.

Wasn't Chariots of Fire a controversial win? I know that was the year of Raiders, Reds, and one of my favorites Thief.
