this episode GENUINELY made me stop watching for a full year. i was so unbelievably angry. fortunately, i came back eventually and season 3 is honestly one of my fav seasons - he’s thankfully not insufferable the entire time 🫶🫶

That is such a useful take to hear! Thank you. Schmidt’s cheating on those two was genuinely frustrating to watch, even (maybe especially?) because it’s in a sitcom and being played for laughs. I’m glad Cece called Elizabeth. I hope this doesn’t make Cece absent from the show for a while — she’s one of my favorites. I feel like, in a show of intentionally flawed characters, Cece often plays the sensible role, which makes me feel bad when she’s the victim of the others’ chaos.
