It’s been so long since I saw Moon, that I’d forgotten most of the plot details. So I was right there with Kevin on the total distrust of Gerty. Sorry, Gerty, for doubting you… Again.

Inventive, solid movie and it shows how good even a small-ish budget can look when the people involved have a passion for the project. I know some models are coming back into SFX such as in Mandalorian. I hope that trend continues and we get a genuine blend of digital and model fx. Should catch Prospect (2018) as another low budget creative solid SF.

Likewise, it's been an age since I saw Moon, and I forgot what a great part of the movie Gerty was. Kevin Spacey is/was my second favorite ever actor (behind Gene Hackman), his recent....troubles.... certainly made Gerty more suspicious to me.

I would love to check that out. I don't hate CGI. Obviously we aren't escaping it at this point. My favorite sc-fi films come from the 70's and 80's. It was just so much better then. The detail and craftsmanship bleeds through the screen.
