Been a busy few weeks for me so I'm just now catching up on Mad Men. This episode was why I made a comment on the last episode that I didn't think Don was being petty with Peggy and Ted, but more driven by self loathing. I was trying to phrase it in a way that didn't spoil this episode. To me, what Don did for Ted with California, breaking down in the Hersey meeting, showing his kids his childhood home, etc. all point to a guy processing himself and finally trying to be good to the people around him as best he can.
