I like how Frank has an emotion and just immediately embraces it. Also Jamie is amazingly tolerant of Frank's come ons.

Yeah, Jack and Tracy's storyline is entire about the Iraq War. It is very obvious that 30 Rock is airing at the tail end of the Bush administration. So the fundamental incompetency of America's leadership had fully revealed itself. And enough time had passed that they could make 9/11 jokes.

That was a mad episode. I kept expecting Frank to reveal that he was just joking and/or secretly gay....but the scene in the gay nightclub made it very clear that neither was the case. Very strange, but utterly compelling. :D
