Completely random, but I was wondering whether if you would ever go back and watch the In the Soop Season 1 Behind the Scenes for each episode? As you didn’t watch them whilst watching the series, but have since watched the behind the scenes episodes for all the Bon Voyages, because you missed quite a bit from not seeing the behinds!

I also started to really dislike Kwon in this epsiode. The ONLY things I can kinda say in his favour are that I get that he felt at a disadvantage if they're all there on a limited contract not knowing whether they get signed on permanently and he just learned that his fellow junior lawyer simply earned unauthorized vacation but no repercussion at all for handing in her resignantion and then coming back. So I get that he started feeling competitive and he obviously had high enough regards for her to see her as serious competition but I hate the methods that he used and that he didn't even consider that they both might have a place at Hanbada. I haven't watched the whole show yet but I hope he gets better

The grimace I pulled when Steph said she felt glad that this epsiode is lighter...

@8:12 Steph , it’s funny what you mentioned about all of them having to have done their service at some point , cause a month after the final episode of Attorney Woo , Kang Tae-oh who plays Jun-ho started his enlistment lol

I studied law in the UK so the ethics may be somewhat different to Korea but like Wes said you do your best for the client without lying. For example if you are a defence attorney and you know your client is guilty you can’t say that they’re innocent but you can try to find holes in the evidence and prosecutions argument

Many people with Autism can be very black and white when asked questions. Yeongwoo wasn't necessarily choosing to be nice by not throwing Attorney Kwon under the bus, but Attorney Jung asked her shouldn't she know what a cassette is...and technically the answer is yes...so that's how she answers rather than thinking to defend herself. It's a trait which often makes people with Autism quite vulnerable, not because they don't have the smarts to problem-solve that, but the inferential aspect of understanding what is being implied and thinking in someone else's shoes are things which are difficult for people with Autism.

Based on my knowledge of listening to at least 10000+ hrs of true crime podcasts it is the same in germany :)

This is interesting. I think this is the first time we have completely different readings of the characters! I was suspicious of Ihwa sales guy from the start: HOW does he not know what his biggest competitors are up to and he also claims they and the other company are THE biggest market competitors yet they're "so" small and NEVER heard of the biggest fair of their trade in the world? Sorry but total bullshit. Even if you couldn't afford to send your employees there you would definitely check on the new developments and innovations that were presented afterwards! Especially if they get published as free open source materials. So I was sure sales guy was in on it the entire time he just knew the older man didn't have anything to prove his claim so he didn't care. So yeah I didn't like him and the developer almost immediately whereas I really started to feel for the older guy from the other company around the halfway point. Then I noticed that he is not just loud and angry - he is desperate. For his company and the blatant injustice that is SO obvious to him and I think he is shocked that Ihwa would be so brazen to pull something like this. Maybe there was kind of a respect for each other before this as business rivals and now he is appalled they'd use such tactis or something. Also in the scene where Young Woo tells Manager Bae about how to act in court I think she realised that they're lying but she still decided to give them tipps on how to lie better and I think she is not 100 % happy with her decision there and Jung Ho too seemed surprised and disappointed in her to me. So yeah I found it quite interesting that for the first time we had such different readings of the situation and characters haha :D

It’s interesting because if you go back to the beginning you can see the sales guy rub his nose during the meeting, indicating he was lying from the start

Maybe instead of happy we should have said cute and upbeat lol. You guys are so cute and sensitive~ 😂
