the song that the girls were performing during karaoke is called "into the new world". its by girlband called Girls Generation. i would say that it is a kpop classic, truly an iconic song. Hari is played by Sejeong, who is an idol, and almost every female idol performs this song at some point lol

I feel like you guys might not have realized this bc her makeup and hair as the fake persona isn’t that crazy in American standards, but in Korea it would be seen as super over the top and dramatic, especially the eye makeup lol. That’s partially why she didn’t want Min Woo seeing her like that

when I comes to KDrama romcoms it is all about the actors to me. because they use a lot of the same story the actors have to be good or it gets boring. but this is a fun one to me.

business proposal is a cool drama actually cause it's a proper satire. up until the early 2010s a lot of romantic dramas were about cold rich mean guys and poor frail girls so this one really just embodies every cliche from that era. everything that seems over the top is actually just playing into the tropes or sometimes subverting them.
