I’ve been sitting by my computer all day waiting for this 😂😂

This episode was pain 😭

“Are you from outer space?” That’s a reference to the huuuge kdrama that put GangTae’s actor on the map. It’s called “You Who Came from the Stars”

Guys she turned off his phone, you missed it when you paused when they were lying down or you were talking over it etc but that's why he didn't answer. I suggest when you pause to go back a few seconds or you miss alot of key plot moments and sentiments.

uuhh sorry I'm gonna have to be the annoying one here :') but "My love from the star"/"Who you came from the star" is not what put him on the map. It's actually the very successfull drama "Dream high". He had such a rapid growth of popularity that he landed a leading role in the drama "The moon that embrasses the sun" from a famous korean screen writer. Btw this drama was reference in that one Run BTS episode where they repeat/play iconic drama lines. Of course, the next year, "Who you came from the star" contributed even more to his notority as a skillfull actor in korea !

Leenseoh

yeah he did not push him but remember that your childhood memories are often altered by the bad feelings you felt at that very moment. So in his head, his brother pushed him. Also he did saw him leave at first :(

This ep was so emotional for me so the rewatch hit hard 😭 I didn't catch that Mun-yeong turned Gang-tae's phone off until now lol. I feel like this situation could've been avoided if Gang-tae would just tell the truth to Sang-tae, because in this situation all Sang-tae knows is that Gang-tae was gone for the night and told him to call if he needed, Granted the phone turning off wasn't Gang-tae's fault but it was still annoying how easily he lied to his brother even if it was just to avoid the emotions that he didn't want to deal with at the moment. That was a semi-rant lol but I loved this reaction and the talk about the brothers towards the end and how Gang-tae is probably used to telling Sang-tae lies because it's what he did as a child who was not equipped to help Sang-tae in a healthy way who was also dealing with the trauma of his mother dying.

The episode breaks me no matter how many times I rewatch it. The ending is just so hard to take

Yes, munyeong's clothing style in this drama seems to change along with the overall change in her and her emotions.

You know what's funny? The hospital's director is in fact a very popular singer in Korea. Search it, lol. You will see

I really like watching kdrama with both of you!

Ahjusshi_Brown

You’re right. That wasn’t the one that “put him in the map” but “You Who Cane From the Stars” was his first lead role in a major blockbuster drama and as a result, was the project that truly catapulted his career (compared to all his previous projects). Thanks for pointing that out.

The deer in this show are a breed of water deer that are only around China and Korea. They can bark and scream to alert or scare off predators and the screams can be mistaken as people sometimes. Also they weirdly have tusks that look like fangs 🤨

My parents had one of those beds that are close to the ground but they got rid of it because the older they get the harder it is to get up from the bed if it's too low to the ground.

Just wanted to inform y'all the reason you see lots of Subway is because it's a sponsor/ brand deal for the show 😂

Honestly you guys should eat when you do these longer episodes. You're always talking about being hungry and I'm sure you haven't had lunch at this point usually. The origins of mukbangs stems from the eating culture of Korea. In Korea, eating alone is like drinking alone. It's sad and lonely for a lot of people so they started doing eating broadcasts for the single people who don't have friends or family around to eat with, so they will livestream eating and chatting while viewers eat and chat. Sometimes they will also use it to teach recipes or watch shows like you guys do. Freaking Americans did what we usually do and turned this beautifully sentimental aspect of food and internet culture and turned it into a joke. Granted there was extreme mukbang before (where they eat something strange or massive quantities) but it wasn't the norm.
