It’s not that she knows he’s upset and is just ignoring his emotions/how her words affect him. It’s an aspect of antisocial personality disorder. Those with that disorder who go on to become psychotic or sociopathic often teach themselves human emotions, not so they can eventually feel them but so they can mimic them and manipulate others. MoonYoung acts in the same way at times but there are moments when she genuinely doesn’t recognize the emotions others are feeling, or why her words/actions elicit such a response. Hence why she’ll ask such blunt questions. Sometimes it’s to piss ppl off, sometimes it’s bc she genuinely wants to know (bc she can’t tell).

She’s been two faced..she’s been trying subtly ever so hesitantly to kick her out of his life. She even asked the head nurse if she was murderous trying to inflict doubts about her character. It is very subtle n hesitant vibey that’s why it’s hard for you to see…and the part where the main actress takes out anger on bogo tshirt, is more symbolic of the dude’s behaviour shift towards her.. at the end, she recalls all the good memories n puts the tshirt up again
