Ahjusshi_Brown

YESSS so happy this one won the poll. One of my favorite kdramas in recent years

drew

finally!!!!!!!!!

Maay

YESSSS IM SO HAPPy

Maay

I will have to wait until i finish work, bit i am excited

Dquiettype

I’ve never watched this kdrama before so excited to get home at night and watch this with you 🥰

Kallie

I love this drama but I will not be watching it again y’all enjoy 😭😭

Paola Lopez

Yaaaay!!! I’m so happy it won!!🤩 can’t wait for a bunch of Wes and Steph crying tho

Tri

YESSSSSS

Fiyin Cole

I promise y’all, things will start to makes sense as it goes on don’t worry😭. Also the show does have a serious tone but it also has some comedic relief parts and characters, I hope you guys enjoy it :)

Honey

Their takes are so hilarious 😂😂😂 this drama confuses you, tugs at your heart strings, makes you evaluate situations not just based on your moral compass but also from their perspective

Honey

The way they reacted to "seduce him". Obviously she didn't mean it literally 😂😂😂

ola

i love how confused you are hahaha

Ahjusshi_Brown

You guys should “recognize” the male lead from this show. He was the random, special cameo in Crash Landing on You (when the 4 soldiers were sent to South Korea to bring back Captain Ri). He’s a veryyyy popular actor in SK.

Geee

I enjoyed this series. It's one of the better ones out there but I feel like we should've stayed on a "lighter" kdrama for reactions.

Anne

the chemıstry of thıs two!!!!!!

caylie

btw at the begining when someone said 'older brother' it's actually sang tae not gang tae who is the care giver. that explains why he looks older🤣

Honey

Nahhh, this gives them more room to discuss or debate😊

Honey

Why not??🤣🤣 The drama I don't know if I can watch again despite absolutely loving it is Beyond evil

Maay

Haha, seeing them so confused is funny, but I would like to explain that this kdrama heavily relies on visual representation. For example, 'the video call' was not literally a video call, it was simply a visual representation of the CEO's messages and the tone in which they were conveyed. I'm not exactly sure of the precise term in English, but it's all about visual storytelling. I truly love the story of this drama, and I hope you enjoy it too, haha. By the way, I'm not sure if it's a spoiler, but if I remember correctly, Sang-tae is on the autism spectrum, and the actor does an incredible job in portraying the role

Giyanka

Seeing you guys so confused is so fun to watch hehe. Yes, the tone of the shows is hard to decipher if you haven't watched many k-dramas. They are really playing with the audience in this one when it comes to understanding Moon-young but I would say the premise of the drama is really in the title. 'It's ok not to be ok' and we all need a bit of crazy in our lives. It is a bit dark but I think once you get used to the tone, you will enjoy it :)

Maay

It's also so funny to see the initial reactions to Moon-young. She truly is a unique character and her personality is just fascinating, as you progress through the series, you can grasp a bit more of her depth, haha. She's one of my favorite characters 🤣

drew

GOD THIS SHOW IS ADDICTING

Shanthi M

this was my exact reaction when i watched ep1, but it gets super good as it goes on...by far the best character development for a lead actress...you will end up loving the trio

Ahjusshi_Brown

Just want to clarify that the psychologically unstable dad unalived himself. During the news report, you see the knife they were fighting over in an evidence bag covered in blood. After MoonYoung stabbed GangTae’s hand they had cleaned it off and threw it to the side. The father must’ve picked it up on his way out and used it once they put him back in the psych ward. Just wanted to clear that up bc it won’t be a major plot point in the show going forward, and I didn’t want you guys to keep “trying to solve it” as the show went on 😂😂

ParkMinJeon

It’s a Kdrama lmao A LOT of them have pauses where the love interests stare at each other so y’all better get used to it lol

Chels

It's a morbid humor type of show for people who feel like outcasts or have experienced trauma themselves, but also from a typical perspective, it's really deep and intriguing. I think Wesley coined it when he brought up Maleficient. Similar thematically

tabii ⁷

I think this one in particular was significant in a way bc with any romance drama they usually stare but not for this long.

Aliphsi

oh I'm so excited to revisit this kdrama with you. It's one of my favorites. I even have the children's books that show up here. Although there’s some things I didn’t like. I think Korea in general does a good job representing mental health. Plus the art of this drama is dark, but beautiful, and a good way to make mental struggles visual. I kind of missed the long stares too.

Honey

He didn't pick it up on his way out. I would comment more but I don't want to spoil it for them

Ahjusshi_Brown

Oh really? It’s been a while since I’ve rewatched this drama but okay. I won’t ask more either as to avoid spoiling as well lol

Honey

Ikr...the acting, the storyline, the different perspectives. I don't know if I'm ready to rewatch it alone but I would watch them react to it .

Waffles

I forgot how good this drama is, I’m excited to rewatch it with Wes and Steph !! I always love y’alls commentary

Infinite Ree

You guys are in for a ride. And I would classify this as a dark romantic comedy. It will also make you an emotional wreck.

Nele

wow, that was interesting - watching this for the first time with you and i'm soooo curious for the next episode !!

Infinite Ree

The thing I found most interesting about kdramas is of course the many ways they are different from U.S shows, but when you watch a lot of them, you start to see the patterns and tropes that are prevalent in the stories. Just like we have tropey or cliche moments, kdramas do as well. It's very fascinating to me.

yeon

It's my first time watching this drama, and I'm looking forward to it

Jennifer Yuen

FYI, the main actor in here is the North Korean spy cameo that appeared in Crash Landing On you!!!!! He is also the highest paying actor in Korea at the moment!!

kinetic98

Goblin slayer...

Honey

I like the fact that the story doesn't necessarily paint ko mun yeong as an angel just because she's a main character. Like we as the audience actually get to question how we feel about her.

Mimosa Khaund

i am so happy to watch it with you guys :) :)

ern

I was surprised that you guys haven't recognized the male lead 😂 He was in "Crash Landing On You" too you know... Go figure 🤣

kookmineve

I hope for the next one you can do something a bit lighter and not as emotional. Hotel Del Luna would be the most perfect option, it has Magic, Mystery, Romance, Comedy, Beautiful Cinematography, Supernatural Elements

lauto

well to be honest I think its normal because in crash landing on you he was wild lol

Lei

Hi what is your guys schedule for this show like what days of the week? I have already completed this series and can't wait to see your reactions to future things!

drew

I'm sure they will do Vincenzo next..Woo is the runner up tho on the last poll

drew

You won't regret it..its an awesome one

drew

Wow so the books there are real? Interesting

kookmineve

They need to do a different genre, I don’t like either It’s Okay not to be Okay or Vicenzo, but It would good for them to see something that isn’t so intense, having a break with a different type of one. I love Attorney Woo, but Hotel Del Luna would be the perfect one for them to do

drew

Yes! The light ones can be annoying sometimes. Typical romcom tropes, etc

morela

This Is probably my fav kdrama ever. IT crashed my heart but at the same time it gave me something I was missing, it completed me in a weird way. I'm excited to rewatch it with you guys

Tasnia

Guys don’t try to guess, you’ll slowly understand as the story goes on. It is a darker kdrama that deals with a lot of mental and traumatic experiences that character goes through and the fact that someone crazy or traumatic could be loved too. Also if you were not sure, sang-tae is the older brother. Every time you hear “hyung” that’s a term for older brother/friends

Daniela Miño

I'm so excited to watch this with you

Mia Fisher

And people said "nah the Glory is too dark" then suggest this LMAO I fuck with it though

yeon

Is this show dark? 😳

Lela

I only watched until ep 4 before I couldn't find the time anymore so this is perfect lol

Lela

I don't think the publisher left a video message it was just the show's creative way of visualizing the text message :D

Jay

just bcs u didn’t like it doesn’t mean they won’t, hotel del luna was mediocre at best

Sheetal Chand

i haven't completed this series (started years ago when it came out but then didn't follow up) so i can finally complete it with you guys

Sheetal Chand

Guys you need something light and silly after this 😂 so I'm recommending Strong Woman Do BongSoon or Weightlifting Fairy Kim BokJoo
