Jimin said in the suga episode that he wrote a Letter for army when it was disclosed that they were taking a break and he basically translated all his words to lyrics for Letter!

The voices in Like crazy are voice actors acting dialogs similar to a few ones in the movie the song is based off, "Like crazy" starring Felicity Jones and Anton Yelchin. Jimin has said in the past he loves this movie. For Interlude:Dive most of the sound effects (steps, heavy breathing after running, etc) were recorded by Jimin himself, and the part with the speech is from from their Busan concert.

I have really enjoyed all the solo albums. Since I have heard albums from the rapline already prior to these new solo albums, I felt like I knew more of what to expect. With Jimin's album, I genuinely didn't know what his sound would be, since his has vocalized how much he sees himself as part of a group and not a solo artist. What I have always enjoyed about BTS' albums is that I can sit and listen to them all the way through, and they tell a cohesive story. Jimin's album really expressed the feeling of having so much time on our own during the pandemic and needing to escape but resolving to be better. For me I am not a drinker, but it was still very relatable.

Loved hearing your thoughts on face! Yes, Jimin was so impressive, the way he managed to show his range and versatility while keeping a cohesive feeling throughout the journey was perfect. Fun fact, you know Jimin said on suchwita he didn’t want any features/collabs since it was his first album about him, but Jungkook is still doing background vocals on letter, which I found really sweet. My favourite song is either alone or letter, I love that emotional slow kind of music.

Jimin actually mentioned on Suchwita that Face Off is about some friends he "drifted apart from" and in a 2020 interview he also mentioned how he recently came to see some people for who they really are 😬. And I agree that song shows so many unexpected sides to Jimin's voice that I think vocally it surprised me the most!

You captured Like Crazy quite well. It's literally a song about escapism and trying to run away from your real pain (I don't remember Jimin's exact words anymore). I think the only thing you might need to consider too is that the album is a chronicle of his feelings during the pandemic. So a lot of his negative feelings and the drinking are a direct result of the isolation and them not being able to go on tour like planned and feeling unsure about their future since they originally planned to enlist after their 2020 tour. Jimin also mentioned that at the beginning he didn't even notice how bad he was doing mentally because of all that. Also: Wes you projecting your own feelings and experinces on to the song just means it is doing what art is supposed to do ;) and I think that's great

This is probably one of my fav album reactions you guys have done :) it was amazing to see the songs getting you to talk, think and relate. I'm glad you managed to capture the story of the album so well and I agree I think making music is a catharsis for all of them. Rm and Suga have also mentioned that and Jimin said he worked through his emotions with these songs and is not at this place mentally anymore :)

i don't know why it makes me so anxious when wes looks to his side when he talks and misses something in the screen hshhshs but anyway thank you so much for your reactions!!! i love thaht you guys take the time and put the effort to listen to some interviews before so you can have a better understanding of the lyrics and the meaning behind them<3

Remember that in his conversation with SUGA, he said he wrote Letter as a song to ARMY after that dinner party they had in which they told us they were going to take a "break". He said that he knew how ARMY must be feeling so he wrote that song to comfort us. 💜 It works for me.

Jungkook is singing on Letter, you can hear him very clearly. Its beautiful he had Jungkook sing on a song that meant so much to him and it being the hidden track on the album, the day before the album came out jungkook actually played the song on the guitar for us, but we didn't know that was what he was playing

Finally getting to this ! 💜 the interlude brings me back to one of Janet Jackson's albums. She had like 5 interludes on one album with just sounds effects and instrumentals. It brings back when artists put those interludes in to break up two songs, or to bridge two songs. Jimin thought this was needed from the angry Face Off to the escapism of Like Crazy. He has the alarm clock for Alone.

I'm the same as Steph, Jimins album has been my favorite but his voice and music styling has always resonated with me the most, followed closely by Suga. I feel these two play with their voices and sound the most though, so every song on the album doesn't sound or feel the same.

letter is for army, he wrote the lyrics based on a letter he wrote for armys in june 2022
