A little history lesson about "Budae-jjigae" (which translates to "army base stew"). It is a spicy sausage-based stew often comprising of hot dogs, Spam, baked beans, kimchi, instant noodles, cheese, mushrooms, green onions, rice cakes, and gochujang in the broth. After the Korean War, South Korea was left as one of the poorest countries in the world. The people were left to cook whatever they could find, and a lot of the ingredients in this stew were taken from abandoned US military bases. Nowadays, this dish is still super popular, and there are chains of Budae-jjigae restaurants that specialize in this hearty dish that was created during a time of great poverty.

There is a happy place with no Mosquitoes, Colorado, to high of an altitude, and hardly any lakes to breed in. Love you guys.
