Just to a little piece of information about the Nichirin swords/Katanas, when someone's katana break it's wasn't because the swordsmith did a bad job. Most of the Demon Slayer Corps swordsmiths are very talented and were pick most likely by the elder or their family, the metal is about the same of most katanas with some variations but when someone's katana breaks its most likely because their technique is not perfect, The mastery of the technique of the Demon slayer is related to the condition of their Katanas specially Hashiras because they're strong and but a lot of pressure in the katana. There are some hashiras whose katana chipped every month, there are some who needs a new katana every week and there are some Hashiras who after they became Hashiras their katana never broke or has barely taken any damage, just because they are hashiras or are in the Demon slayer corps means that they have perfect technique or their katana breaks because was a bad katana or was the swordsmiths fault. I can mention someone whose Katana has barely taken any damage and that is Zenitsu even though he only knows 1 breathing technique he has already master it as i was mentioned in previous seasons.
