Very unexpected 👀

Watch the ending of the second season, told the story of Ymir, like two or three years before the author wrote in the manga.

There's actually some very key foreshadowing cut from the very first chapter of the manga that didn't make it into the anime. 1 being that when Grisha takes out the key and says he'll show Eren the basement, in the manga he's mysteriously looking away from Eren. Which later on we know is because he senses that Future Eren is stood in front of him, watching him. Also Eren's dream that he has is very different in the manga and is super crucial to the end of the series.

Maybe it was ymir that gave young eren those future memories

I think in the manga Eren makes a comment about Mikasas hair being longer now that he woke up. Meaning he dreamt to the future when she'd cut it shorter

The VERY first scene of the vision, the splash of blood across flowers, is actually seen LIVE later in the anime-- THE INSTANT HANNES IS BITTEN IN HALF, in Season 2's last episode "Scream"!

Where can I find chapter 12 of the third season?

Next anime suggestion: rewatch AOT 😂. But seriously, if you ever have extra time in your lives, this show is such a good rewatch

There is also precedent for certain "Subjects of Ymir" who haven't even inherited one of the Nine yet dreaming about or remembering things they shouldn't-- like in S4E1, Falco waking up on the battlefield from a dream where he remembered whooshing around in the air and fighting titans with 3D maneuver gear, even though he was just a Warrior Candidate and shouldn't have had any memories of Paradis yet. Could Ymir be responsible? It's difficult to say yet. However, when Eren embraced Ymir a few episodes ago, do recall the very last thing he said to her: "Were you the one who led me here? You've been waiting this whole time. For 2000 years... for someone." Taken together with the title of Episode 1 being "To You, 2000 Years In The Future", it's very possible that YMIR is the one responsible for haunting Eren with the memories he dreams about in Episode One... and for how INSISTENT he was as a kid that the titans would break into the city while everyone else was resting on their laurels after 100 years of peace. One can't help but wonder all of the OTHER ways these memories may have influenced him, from a very young age, even if he never realized it.

I know it's a big commitment and I'm not saying to film it or anything but if you really love this series consider watching it a second time. So many things will be recontextualized.

Yeah in the manga Eren dreams of a short haired Mikasa saying "See you later Eren"

Doing this again (watching the first 5 minutes) would be so good after the very last episode of the show !! Also I’m not 100% sure but it would be cool if someone can put down episode numbers (with the most foreshadowing) that you can rewatch after you finish too☺️
