Ubel vs 2nd class mage proctor reminds me of the case where this couple were making a YouTube video to test the theory that several encyclopedia books would block a bullet, so the guy held it in front of him and the girl shot, killing him. It's like Wes said, play stupid games, you win stupid prizes. Here's my theory, Ubel can't control her magic at all since she is purely intuitive and has never learned the mechanics of spellcasting. She herself has never said she likes killing, but I think she likes playing with magic and fighting, so that's why she comes off as a killer, but in reality, I don't think she intends to kill, it's just that she has a hard time imagining her power not cutting completely through something. Like she told Denken, she's actually an inexperienced mage, so it makes sense she would struggle to control such a beast power. I also hold strong to the belief that she is not evil, just has Anti-social Personality Disorder~ and not everyone with that disorder are bad people. Just a wee bit callous you could say 🤣 "They had Dunkle" I'm wheezing.. Denken!

the small details of the show is insane, when frieren taught fern defensive magic Fern made a point how covering a large area is such an expanse of mana used and the best way to use it is to create a small defensive area at the impact, yet in the start when fern attacks the clone, since frieren stop detecting mana the clone just said balls to it and covered her entire body with defensive mana such a cool detail.
