Well, first Sunday Funday back from the hiatus (officially back, not "oh crap I fucked up" back), and I feel like things are going well.

I had forgotten that writing consistently was pretty alright for my mental health, it's a good way to decompress after work. My pace is still not exactly where I want it to be, and it's not everyday that I manage to get the juices going, but slowly but surely I'll get things done (as evidenced by the stories currently on Early Access).

After sketching out a few starting points for The Elf Thing, I finally settled on a first chapter, too. It might come back to bite me in the ass later to not start at the very beginning, but if things go wrong, what's the worst that could happen?

Thank you again for the support, folks, I wouldn't be here without y'all.

Honestly, who thought it was a good idea to release Tekken 8, Yakuza 8, Persona 3 Reload, Under Night II and Granblue Fantasy Relink this close to each other?

I'm not gonna play any of those anytime soon, but still, I can feel my spiritual game backlog get heavier just by looking at the release schedule. It doesn't help that some of them also didn't come with regional pricing (I'm looking at you, Yakuza 8, with your NG+ locked behind special edition DLC. I know corporate Sega is ass but dang, I wasn't expecting that).

I'm really excited about P3R. It's one of my favorite PS2 games, and it was introduced to me via that RPG magazine I talked about ages ago. Sometimes they talked about videogames too, and they had an article about this spooky franchise with demons and stuff, "Shin Megami Tensei". Many months later, I see "Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3" at my local shop and decided to give it a shot. As I would learn much later on, it wasn't actually a SMT game, but it grabbed me by the balls nonetheless.

Anyway, that's it for this week, I'll see you next week, folks.
