Hi there. I'm going to try to make this quick since most of y'all are probably tired of long-winded life/health updates.

1. I'm doing ok. My back hasn't fully healed, and probably never will, but getting a job that accommodates it while also working on rebuilding my strength means I'm not constantly debilitated. My health problems followed by financial problems followed by mental health problems took their toll, and despite 2023's last week being quite crappy, I'm trying to have a positive outlook for the future.

2. Commissions will stay in hiatus for the time being. I have a huge backlog to work on, and I will fulfill every single one of them, including prehistoric polls and whatnot, I just need time to do so.

3. Patreon will go through some changes in the next months. I've mentioned this before, but I want to open up again with just the lower tiers for previews, polls, ebooks, early access and shoutouts. No commission or poll slots until I catch up. Of course, I'll contact patrons of currently unpublished tiers first, and when they open up again, they'll have priority to reclaim their slots. (I'll also have to update the tier buttons, they look terrible with the new design...)

Sorry if things are a bit dry in this section, I wanted to be concise.

Forever ago (Sunday Funday 04) I mentioned one manga I liked a lot, Delicious in Dungeon, was getting an anime adaptation, and guess what: the first episode is out this week on Netflix, go watch it, it's very nice.

Another one of my favorites also got an adaptation in 2023: Sousou no Frieren. I'm not one to usually cry with anime/books/movies/etc, but Frieren manages to make me teary-eyed every now and then, it's fantastic. The anime adaptation is also wonderful. They've gone above and beyond, adding lots of flair and charm to the original, it's very faithful but with a lot more flavor, much better than what seems to be the current "meta" of adapting things panel by panel.

I also fell down the One Piece hole. I can understand why so many people like it now, the characters and paneling are extremely vibrant, it reminds me of OG Dragon Ball's manga so much. Currently reading through Little Garden.

Anyway, what are y'all reading/watching? I managed to fix my Kindle (there was some weird dust gunk in the micro-USB port and it wasn't charging anymore), so I'm taking manga recommendations.
