Updates and whatnot (Patreon)

Hello folks! Hope June was good to everyone, and into July we go. I have several tiny updates I wanted to bring up, so I'm gonna condense them into a single post so it's easier on everyone's inboxes.

The Patreon Revamp was a success: I wasn't expecting such a positive response to the changes, and I'm glad more people have joined the club. I'm also in awe at how fast the limited slots got filled. Thank you very much for your support! In fact, the support was so great that...

We've hit our first goal: Which means that, together with our Saint tier slot being filled, we'll have four polls every month. Looking forward to many more tied first places!

I always tried to leave 4~5 days for each poll, but considering we have twice as many now, they're most likely staying open for 2~3 days. We'll have pretty much one poll a week, as long I don't have to deal with unforeseen consequences like when...

I got very sick: The latter half of the month was a bit quieter here, I'm sure you have noticed. I had an annoying headache for a couple of days and thought nothing of it, then woke up with my face swollen and my throat so raspy that even swallowing saliva felt like I was chugging razorblades.

I've dealt with sinus infections in the past, but this left me legitimately bedridden for almost a week, and then I had to deal with the work that had piled up at my IRL job, throwing a wrench in my writing schedule. Things are back to normal now, thankfully, but that means I probably won't open for commissions in July as I catch up with Patreon work. This probably isn't news to a lot of you, since I complained about it a lot on Discord, and about that...

Join the Discord, I'm not asking anymore: This is just my daily/weekly/monthly reminder for the people who still haven't joined us. Considering I'll have to come up with double the polls now, I could really use some ideas in our Request Box channel. The winners of the last two polls came from there, so I'm assuming the new benefit is a success overall. 

Also, like outlined in the benefit masterpost, commissions and poll slots are handled entirely through Discord, as Patreon's chat is just terrible all around.
