The music was punctuated by a metallic sound. A golden coin was flung into the air with a flick of the thumb. Buried in one of the leather chairs, the black-haired man distracted himself, repeating the motion.
The sound rang again, but there was no snatch of the hand to catch the coin. It had stopped at the zenith of its arc, frozen until it graciously floated into the hand of the blond sitting next to him.
She glared at him, her purple eyes shining with disapproval. He sighed and rolled his eyes. They wore matching black outfits: a long strapless dress that accentuated her pale legs, simple black heels and a widebrimmed, witch-like hat for the lady; a simple but well-fit two-piece suit for the man, a beat-up leather backpack hanging from the chair. The lady was dressed to kill, lips coated in deadly rose color, eyes perfectly lined up in dark mascara. Meanwhile, her partner had a disheveled but attractive quality to him, short messy hair, one too many buttons open on his white shirt, revealing a string with a ring hanging from it.
From across the room sat the last client, a woman with a deep tan and lilac hair tied up in a high ponytail, so voluminous that it looked like a cloud, a bang almost floating above her right eye. She wore golden bracelets that complemented her silky cream dress, waterfalls of fabric that fell down her body, covering just what was necessary on her curves. She admired her own nails, a light blue that matched the lipstick on her full lips, aquamarine  earrings on her long, pointy ears.

This is a preview of the first update I sent to the winners of the club YCH auction I hosted a while ago. The full story will take a while to come out, but I'm trying to keep them updated.
