I was pretty interested in seeing how you would react to the return of Atalanta. I wasn't disappointed. :D Cory Everson, who plays Atalanta, was a pentathlon champion for four years in college before she entered bodybuilding, so she was no stranger to this kind of athletic competition. (As a bodybuilder, she wore nothing but a small bikini, so her costume on Hercules was actually modest by comparison to what she wore on stage. 🙂 ) ... I think Herc may be a little thrown by how forward she is. He's obviously attracted to her physically, and who wouldn't be? ... I love to see Salmoneus back, as always. And even Falafel makes an appearance! ... This episode aired the same year at the 1996 Olympic Games, not by coincidence. Mythology holds that Heracles started the Olympics. This version of the events has him start it (with some help) but not compete. It's no surprise when Atalanta wins the first event. ... I am really glad that Cory and Kevin Sorbo remain good friends to this day.
