This is my favourite episode from season one. I was waiting for you to watch and react to it since the pilot lol. I agree that they didn't let Alex to react properly in the end of the episode. During the conversation with Amanda both of them (Alex and Amanda) were playing their roles. Therefore, it was impossible to say anything specifically about the emotional state of Alex. But we have seen that she is still not quite alright during her phone call to Nikita. Also I forgot to mention this last week, but I LOVE the theme of Alex's dad (or just the Udinov's theme). Music is heart-breaking, sad and kind of touching. When i hear an echo on the phone i'm just... idk i just don't think about it heh. The moment when the fight between Michael and Nikita turns into a kiss was so... fanfictionly funny and amazing lol. I screamed. Alex's consciousness is also a Mikita's shipper. I wanna say more but i'm afraid i'll spoil anything to you.

I still cant believe Michael just found where Nikita was by a simple echo. Wouldnt wanna have that toxic boyfriend x'DDDD I'm shipping them too so I hope something good happens in next episode

The echo bit actually made a lot of sense scientifically. Far more than how Alex acted under psychotropic drugs while having a trained interrogator handling things. Being in a bathroom crates a very loud echo though. Alex barely had one in her phone conversation, suggesting she was in something more akin to a warehouse where there's only a hint of an echo. You can tell the difference if you work in a warehouse-like environment for awhile. I do find it funny that Amanda and Michael are the only two characters that act repeatedly intelligent in the whole show though.
