She said Rollo use to be the favorite, Young Ian's dog! I loved this episode, it was so good. It moved the story along and also brought up new stuff that will surely play out over the rest of the season!

Jamie killing Knox shocked me as well. I really didn't expect that, because this character wasn't in the book. I had trouble understanding it, too, but later I just decided to look at the entire scene this way: Jamie would do anything, including murder, in order to protect his loved ones. I don't think he was happy about it, but he didn't regret it, because he knew it was his only choice. And it's not like he just stabbed the guy because he insulted him or something, unlike Knox himself had done to one of the guys in prison. Though a big concern of mine was how easy it would have been to find out Jamie was the killer if there had been a modern CSI crew avaiable then. Hopefully, everyone would just blame it on the smoke and move on with their lives, cause otherwise, yikes...
