You probably figured this out by now since I'm so late in watching this, but the episodes are still a half-hour long. NBC aired these two episodes together on the same night which is probably why Netflix considers it one episode. Try picturing a bull with the fleece of a sheep and that's essentially a yak. They're usually in the Himalayas, although they can be found as far north as Siberia and as far south as India. Domesticated ones are used for food (yak's milk) and clothing (yak's wool which is VERY warm I've heard.)
