INteresting insights on the Regulators. I grew up in a communist country until I was 9 and I definitely don't love socialism, with exceptions such as helping disabled people who can't work, taking care of orphans and others who aren't able to support themselves without help. I'm not an expert on American history, but from what I remember from reading the books, the Regulators protested against taxes being too high. They also had to be paid in cash, which at that time hardly anyone had enough to pay. In S1 when Dougal collected rents from his tenants, he accepted grain and farm animals, as well as actual money. If the American settlers had that option, paying their due would be much easier for them. There was also that small problem that their taxes didn't go to public education, healthcare and so on, but, at best, served to pay for the governor's new house and, at worst, were sent on to London. So I think it's hard to compare their situation to what we deal with now, when we do our taxes (which, btw, I have to do again, where has the year gone??). As always, love your reaction!

Yeah, cheap turns expensive in the long run. When Chavez started he promised water and power would drop prices and shit... they did. So much it was extremely cheap. 15 years later we barely have water a few times a week and get 80+ hours blackouts x'D cheap or free is nt the best and people need to understand that socialism is only "good" in theory, never in practice. I understand... it is unfair but they're not here because they're good citizens. Most of them are here for a second chance. Because they're ex cons and shit like that so xDU I dont know, I would complain but not burn people down and hunt them. Or try to go back to Scotland maybe, if I liked it so much there. Than you!!
