Cocaine's a hell of a drug. I doubt you'll get the reference, but I'll leave that at that. "Wade in the Water" is a spiritual song that was often sung by slaves in America during the 1800's to help boost spirits. Supposedly the song was used by slaves trying to escape to the north and freedom to tell them to leave land for water so that the dogs would have a harder time following their scent. Trying to be as general as possible. I'm not sure how much you know about slavery in the US, the Underground Railroad, and Harriet Tubman lol. There are several small towns in America that claim events where nothing important happened as an "historical event." Anything to put them on a map and bring tourists essentially. I'm not sure if you noticed, but the sweater Meg has was the one her mom had wrapped around her neck when she died. Adds to the creepiness factor. I think Meg spit on the ground just as a general "fuck you" to Jarden. Falling in love with your captor is indeed referred to as Stockholm Syndrome. When Meg said she wanted to get Tom pregnant, I think she meant putting her morals and ideas inside his head and not necessarily having a baby together. Fucking loved your facial expressions during this reaction. If you can't buy rubber or PVC covering for your cables, try coating them in citrus scents. Cats usually can't stand citrus. That's what I used to do for Callie. Eventually she learned to stay away from electrical cables.

YEah I've been thinking about the citrus spray but I never have anything citrus-y in my house xD not even limes (latinos cant have aything without lime) I had 2 my dad bought when he came to visit and they got SUPE HARD in the fridge x'D because I never used them... next time the farmers market comes around I'll get a few limes

If you have an air freshener with a citrus scent, that would work too. Lime might be a better option though since you can actually use them beyond scaring off Kori. Yeah I figured as much. The Underground Railroad, which was just a name and didn't involve trains at all, was basically a way to get slaves out of the South and eventually to Canada where they could live free. A lot of spiritual songs today were used to boost spirits or as code to evade the hunting parties or local law enforcement who would try and capture the runaways and return them to their owners. Any more questions about history or science, you know who to come to lol.
