It’s the same ending as Titanic, when you stop to think about it: In Titanic, Rose dies in her sleep and is transported back to the Titanic where she is reunited with everyone who died including Jack. She embraces him as they’re washed in light before it transitions out. In LOST, the characters experience the flashsideways as they’re dying (Juliet’s ‘we can go dutch’ moment with Flash-Sawyer is occurring for her as she’s on the island dying in Sawyer’s arms) and as they finally pass away they’re reunited and are awashed with light (the light coinciding with Jack’s eye finally closing) It’s a death experience.

Your reaction to the finale was literally almost the same as mine. I had no words and was balling my eyes out. Legit didnt go to work for a week over that ending lol. Still my favorite show of all time though. Thanks for the full length reaction!
