This episode is pretty darn good, in my opinion. ... So, I guess this doesn't come across to everyone, but the characters in this story were meant to be analogous to the figures in the famous Biblical account of Abraham, Isaac and Ishmael. In that story, God commands Abraham to sacrifice his son, Isaac, but at the last moment halts him. In the Xena story, it's Mael who is behind the command to kill his brother, but God makes a cameo appearance at the end, telling Antias that his faith is enough. (I think you can rest assured that this was God, as in the God of the Bible, not Zeus.) This was another indication that YHWH exists in the universe of Hercules and Xena. ... Well, I was wondering how you would feel about the Xena and Gabby naked in a lake bit. XD

Firstly, Gabrielle on nutbread is everything! :-) And yes, the writers were definitely teasing in this episode - your face and reactions in certain scenes were priceless! I do hope you took your friend up on their offer and got to party a little....
