Friends, thank you for being here. I'm so, so, so grateful. 

Literally, this space is a life raft for me in more than one way. Firstly, this year has been HARD. I feel so burnt out, and I've had a really hard time getting into a positive and productive place. Filming and editing these k-pop reactions so that I can share my joy of checking out this music and actually chat with you about it in the comments sections is maybe the happiest I've been doing anything in MONTHS. So, seriously, thank you for watching the new YouTube channel and supporting me in that way.

Also, before RiVerse Reacts ended, our YouTube revenue & Patreon pledges were the most consistent source of income I had. It was not enough to make a living, by any means, but it was consistent. As independent artists, sometimes we'll get big gigs and other times, we go months without a booking. I do freelance work to help pay the bills but... you know... burnout. It's been so hard to do what needs to be done to find the freelance work. And since we stopped creating RiVerse Reacts, that source of income is gone, too. I've been STRESSED. Like, in tears at the end of every month, wondering how I'm gonna pay my rent...

Not gonna lie, I'm still in tears tonight cuz I know rent is due tomorrow and I don't have it. I just don't. BUT, the handful of people who made pledges here have helped and I'm beyond grateful for this! Even if it was a one-time pledge cuz you wanted to watch Pinkchella, I just appreciate that you offered anything towards me to acknowledge the time & effort & energy that goes into editing these videos and thank you for helping me stay alive and secure one more month!! 

One thing I will ask of you: please help me make this a COMMUNITY! The RiVerse Patreon felt so empty cuz we had hundreds of people watch our exclusive content, but they never interacted with us. Very few people actually commented, participated in polls, joined livestreams, etc. The biggest reason I created K-Pop With Khadija is cuz I want k-pop friends to actually talk to about all the latest news & comebacks! So please... let's be friends! Don't just watch the videos and stay quiet.

Thank you for showing so much love and support. It's WILD to me that some of y'all have been following us for so many years now. I joined the RiVerse Live channel back in February of 2021 and I joined the Patreon in early 2022 because I wanted to support you guys and I loved the positive message. It was actually the first channel I ever subscribed to on here. You probably don't remember but I messaged once in March of 2022. Unfortunately I don't have internet at home so I wasn't able to join in on any of the livestreams. I'm glad that you are keeping up on the k-pop reactions. I loved hearing RiVerse's take on the songs as a musician and I am looking forward to seeing you reacting to them solo. I hope you will also react to dance practices as well.
