This is your chance to get a signed original proof of the God Machine album. Signed by Hansi, Marcus, Frederik & André.

What's a proof? A photographic print, generally supplied with similar images, supplied to a client to aid in the selection of the version that will be used for the final copy.

This is one of the proofs the label got from the printing company to check if all colours, brightness and so on are how it should look on the final product.

Just comment below with a creative and/or funny answer!

What makes Blind Guardian unique and special? There are certainly many answers to that question. I would like to write mine. At the tender age of 15, back in the Ukraine, I sold my parents' books at a flea market in Kiev in the summer. They had several hundred. We knew we were moving to Germany in the winter and couldn't take all the books with us. After several hours of negotiations with stingy customers in 30 degree heat, I was able to earn some money and immediately bought the Lord of the Rings trilogy. All my friends were obsessed with the book and Somewhere Far Beyond confirmed me that The Lord of the Rings is the best fantasy book ever written. Many years later Hansi and Marcus told about Patrick Rothfuss, I bought his books. Well... Just as Blind Guardian once put Frodo on a throne for me, they took Frodo down and put Kvothe on it:) I mean it as a joke, of course, I like both books, but Rothfuss really knocked my socks off. I also looked into Michael Moorcock because I wanted to know what Tanelorn was. The unique thing about the band is that it opens up new horizons. Thanks for the recommendation, I just finished reading The Name of the Wind last week. After that comes Fear of the Wise and then Secrets of American Gods. Thanks to you, I was able to broaden my horizons and got to know wonderful books and films. Thanks!!!!!

Same here. I have just recently learned that Michael Moorcock was the Guest of Honor at the very first Dragoncon, and I love when things like this just come together. Also, there's a character named Elric in my favorite story, which is also a sign of approval and respect. And I love how this is not just about expanding horizons, but revealing things that I should have known, making new connections that I missed. Or, should I say, the ones that were set aside until the time is right?..
